Thanks for your help so far.

Copying the ifcopenshell files 'as is' does not work. The
ifcopenshell.py imports ifc_wrapper.py which in turn imports
_ifc_wrapper.pyd. The linker produces an _IfcImport.pyd, hence the
rename.

I have since tried this on a 32bit machine with exactly the same
outcome.

I will update you as/when I find a solution!
