Commenting post 70: Hi Gudeta, There are indeed a lot. For me the more powerful is Qt (PyQt or PySide), but it's not the easiest. For something simple, I would definitely try zenity ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zenity )... It is used all around ubuntu, and looks really simple to use.
